Vox VFZ-1 Fuzz

The VOX VFZ-1 Fuzz takes one of the most influential fuzz circuits of the late 1960s and reimagines it for today's players. Inspired by the legendary Mk 1.5-style two-transistor designs, the VFZ-1 delivers the warm, expressive breakup and rich harmonic character that made vintage fuzz tones so iconic, while addressing the inconsistencies and noise issues that often come with original units.

Rather than relying on vintage germanium transistors, VOX developed a unique silicon-based design that faithfully recreates the feel and response of those coveted originals. The result is a fuzz pedal that is aggressive yet refined, offering excellent touch sensitivity, impressive cleanup, and significantly lower noise. Additional controls like Bass Cut and Tone Cut provide far more tonal flexibility than traditional vintage fuzzes, while the Crunch switch instantly delivers lower-gain, volume-rolled-back tones without touching your guitar's controls.
