The Martin 000-17 brings an all-mahogany build to the Standard Series, pairing traditional construction with several modern playability refinements. The 14-fret 000 body features a solid mahogany top, back, and sides with a satin Dark Mahogany finish, while GE-scalloped X-bracing and a traditional dovetail neck joint contribute to its warm, balanced character. Its 24.9" short scale also gives the guitar a comfortable feel with slightly reduced string tension.

The satin-finished select hardwood neck features Martin’s GE Modified Low Oval profile with a High-Performance Taper, paired with an ebony fingerboard featuring a gently beveled comfort edge. An ebony GE Modern Belly bridge, bone nut and compensated bone saddle, nickel open-gear tuners, faux tortoise pickguard, and GE Diamond and Square Short abalone fingerboard inlays round out the appointments.
