The VVT Twisted Tweed Deluxe 5E3 is a 100% handmade amplifier built around the classic 5E3 tweed circuit that helped define blues and rock ’n’ roll tones of the 1950s. VVT uses the same types of components found in original-era amps where possible, keeping the design simple and focused on vintage-inspired tone.

Built in Waldorf, Maryland (USA) this 18-watt combo features a solid pine cabinet covered in tweed with an amber lacquer finish and a heavy-duty brown leather handle. The tube complement includes a 5Y3 rectifier, two 6V6 output tubes, one ECC83/12AX7 and one 12AY7, paired with a Jensen C12Q 12" speaker. Two channels each feature their own volume control and two inputs, allowing the channels to be chained together for an expanded range of tones. At just 24 lbs., the Twisted Tweed Deluxe delivers classic 5E3 character in a compact, straightforward package.
