Taylor Next Generation K22ce 12-Fret Special Edition

The Taylor Next Generation K22ce 12-Fret Special Edition brings an all-koa build to Taylor’s compact Grand Concert body, with solid select-grade Hawaiian koa used for the top, back and sides. Paired with scalloped V-Class bracing with a relief rout, the combination delivers a clear, articulate midrange with strong sustain and open-string resonance. Hawaiian koa’s natural character also develops greater warmth and depth as the guitar is played over time.

The 12-fret configuration and 24-7/8" scale create a relaxed, responsive feel that’s particularly well suited to fingerstyle playing, while the Venetian cutaway keeps the upper register accessible. Visually, this Special Edition leans heavily into the natural character of the koa, with Indian rosewood body binding, maple/black/maple edge trim, an Indian rosewood and paua rosette, dark-stained sycamore pickguard and paua Early Koa Series fretboard inlays. A full-body shaded edgeburst completes the look.

Taylor’s Claria Acoustic Pickup System handles amplification with a reimagined piezo design, and the guitar includes a Brown Taylor Deluxe Hard Shell Case.
