This custom Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric guitar showcases the extraordinary visual and sonic combination of Honduran rosewood back and sides and a striped sinker redwood top.
Expect a well-balanced instrument with deep lows, clear mids and shimmering highs, voiced with V-Class bracing for improved volume, sustain and harmony. The sides, satin-finished mahogany neck, and four-piece back — boasting a Simons Wedge configuration — feature a tobacco-shaded edgeburst stain. This model features a single-ring rosette with a cocobolo frame and boxwood field, inlaid with a Split Diamond design. The West African Crelicam ebony fretboard is adorned with a floral-inspired Ocean vine inlay design, also made with cocobolo and boxwood. Other cocobolo appointments include ultra-precise Gotoh 510 tuners with cocobolo buttons, a cocobolo heel cap, body and soundhole binding with matching beveled armrest, as well as purfling for the top, fretboard and peghead.
Finishing touches include a gold strap pin and dark-stained bone bridge pins with red Australian opal dots that complement the richly hued redwood top. This custom build ships with onboard ES2 electronics, TaylorSense and a brown deluxe hardshell case.
