The Taylor 214ce DLX Special Edition Blacktop gives the versatile Grand Auditorium platform a bold, upscale look with a torrefied Sitka spruce top finished in black and layered Indian rosewood back and sides with a shaded edgeburst. The torrefied top brings a warm, played-in character, while C-Class bracing provides strong projection and a balanced response that works equally well for strumming and fingerstyle playing.

A mahogany neck with a satin finish offers a smooth, comfortable feel, paired with a Crelicam ebony fingerboard and Italian acrylic dot inlays. White body binding, a three-ring white rosette and contrasting purfling stand out against the dark finish, while satin black tuners and a black pickguard complete the look. Taylor ES2 electronics handle amplified sound, and a Taylor Deluxe hardshell case is included.
