The Squier Paranormal Precision Bass Thinline SJ reimagines the original Fender bass design with semi-hollow construction and an unconventional pickup pairing. Its thinline nyatoh Precision Bass body adds natural acoustic resonance while reducing weight, giving the instrument a comfortable feel with a warm, airy depth to its low end.

The SJ pickup configuration combines a Fender Designed Alnico ’51 P Bass single-coil with a Fender Designed Alnico Jazz Bass single-coil, offering everything from deep Precision Bass warmth to the focused bite and clarity of a Jazz Bass. A 3-way blade switch provides access to either pickup individually or both together, while the maple “C”-shape neck, 34" scale length, 4-saddle vintage-style bridge, and vintage-style tuning machines keep the playing experience familiar and straightforward.
