Paul Reed Smith Private Stock #12400 McCarty Singlecut 594 Frostbite Glow

We designed this PRS Private Stock McCarty 594 Singlecut around a simple idea: what would a ’57 Les Paul Custom “Black Beauty” look like if it were reimagined as a PRS Private Stock? The result takes that classic upscale, black-and-gold inspiration in a completely different direction, pairing a Frostbite Glow finish with gold hardware, Gold Mother of Pearl appointments, and an exceptional selection of Private Stock woods.

A quilted maple top is paired with a Black Limba back and Black Limba Pattern Vintage neck, while the Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and headstock veneer are both bound in ivoroid. Gold Mother of Pearl brushstroke bird inlays run across the fingerboard, with a matching Private Stock Eagle on the headstock. The body receives a high gloss nitro finish while the neck is finished in satin nitro.

A set of 57/08 pickups completes the build, controlled by two volume controls, one tone control, a push/pull tone control, and a 3-way toggle. The woods for this guitar were personally selected by the dealer from the PRS Private Stock Vault.
