Its arched nyatoh body is paired with a three-piece maple/walnut neck-through-body construction that maximizes sustain while giving players unrestricted access to the upper frets. A hand-rubbed oil finish on the back of the neck keeps things smooth and comfortable when the tempo picks up, while graphite reinforcement rods provide stability against temperature and humidity changes.

The bound ebony fingerboard features a 12"–16" compound radius that starts more curved near the nut for comfortable chord work and gradually flattens as you move up the neck for effortless bends and fast technical runs. Twenty-four jumbo stainless-steel frets and Luminlay® side dots ensure precision and visibility even on the darkest stages, making the SLA2 a true performance instrument designed for players who demand speed and control.
