Gibson J-45 Standard with HiFi DNA Vintage Sunburst

The Gibson J-45 Standard is built around the round-shoulder design that has defined the model since its introduction in 1942. A solid Sitka spruce top is paired with solid mahogany back and sides, with traditional hand-scalloped X-bracing and a gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish. The combination delivers the warm mids, tight bass and balanced projection associated with the J-45.

The mahogany neck features Gibson’s SlimTaper profile and a rosewood fingerboard with 20 standard frets and mother-of-pearl dot inlays. A traditional rosewood belly-up bridge, TUSQ saddle and bridge pins, Grover Rotomatic tuners and teardrop pickguard complete the familiar J-45 setup. The Baggs HiFi DNA system uses dual bridge-plate sensors with soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls for amplified use.
