The Gibson Country Western 60s Original brings a classic square-shoulder acoustic back to the lineup. Handcrafted in Bozeman, Montana, it pairs a Sitka spruce top with mahogany back and sides for balanced tone suited to strumming, fingerpicking, and lead playing.
A round mahogany neck, short scale, and rosewood fingerboard provide a comfortable feel, while split parallelogram inlays and cream binding retain its familiar look. Gibson-exclusive Baggs HiFi DNA electronics use dual bridge-plate sensors with dedicated preamps to capture body resonance and picking dynamics, with discreet volume and tone controls inside the soundhole.
