The Fender Custom Shop 1966 Jazz Bass Journeyman Relic captures the look and feel of a well-played mid-’60s Jazz Bass, finished in Super Faded Fire Mist Silver with Journeyman Relic aging. Its two-piece select alder body is paired with a quarter-sawn maple neck and a dark-sorted round-lam rosewood fingerboard, complete with white pearloid block inlays and binding.

The neck features a ’60 J-Bass “U” profile measuring .800" at the first fret and .970" at the 12th, with a 7.25" radius, 20 vintage-upgrade frets and a bone nut. Hand-wound ’60s Vintage Jazz Bass pickups handle the electronics, while period-inspired details include a four-ply tortoise pickguard, chrome/nickel hardware, bridge and pickup covers, and a black finger rest.
