A Brazilian rosewood top is almost unheard of on a Telecaster, and that's exactly what makes this Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt creation so special. Built by Austin MacNutt, this one-off 1963 Telecaster NOS pairs a figured one-piece ash body with a bound Brazilian rosewood top, creating a striking visual combination while maintaining the classic feel and response of a vintage-inspired Tele. Every detail reflects the precision and craftsmanship expected from a Masterbuilt instrument.
The comfortable '60 Style Oval "C" neck features a quartersawn flame maple construction, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, and a smooth nitrocellulose lacquer finish. Hand-Wound Josefina Campos Telecaster pickups deliver authentic vintage tone with exceptional clarity and balance, while traditional Telecaster hardware and New Old Stock treatment preserve the clean look of a well-kept original from the early '60s.
