The Fender Custom Shop 1952 Telecaster Relic captures the spirit of one of the most influential electric guitars ever made while incorporating a number of carefully selected upgrades for today's player. Built by Master Builder Apprentice George Ruiz, this Custom Shop Tele starts with a lightweight, Yes Sort ash body finished in a beautifully aged 2-Color Sunburst Relic lacquer, delivering the unmistakable resonance, snap, and character that define an early Blackguard.

The roasted 4A flame maple neck is carved to a substantial '52 Style "U" profile, measuring .860" at the 1st fret and .990" at the 12th fret for an authentic vintage feel. Finished in lightly tinted nitrocellulose lacquer and paired with a 7.25" radius maple fingerboard, 21 vintage upgrade frets, and vintage-style hardware, this Tele offers classic playability while benefiting from the added stability of roasted maple. Every detail, from the relic Fender-logo tuners to the vintage silver Fender headstock decal, reinforces its period-correct appearance.

Custom Shop appointments continue with a set of Seymour Duncan Joe Bonamassa signature pickups and replicated early-'50s Nocaster wiring featuring a Luxe .5 capacitor. The result is a Telecaster that delivers exceptional clarity, dynamic response, and unmistakable Blackguard twang with enhanced versatility.
