The Fender American Ultra II Precision Bass takes the classic P Bass platform and pushes it into modern territory with premium materials, refined ergonomics and a highly versatile P/J pickup configuration. A select alder body features Ultra sculpted contours and a tapered neck heel for improved comfort and upper-register access, while the quartersawn maple neck uses Fender’s Modern “D” profile and Ultra Satin finish for a smooth, fast feel. An ebony fingerboard with a 10"-14" compound radius, Ultra rolled edges and Luminlay side dots adds to the modern playing experience. Ultra II Noiseless Vintage Precision Bass and Jazz Bass pickups provide the familiar punch and growl of Fender’s classic bass designs without unwanted hum, backed by an 18-volt active preamp with active/passive switching and extensive EQ control. Hardware includes an adjustable HiMass bridge with string-through-body or top-load operation, lightweight Fender tuners, locking strap buttons and a black anodized aluminum pickguard. The Noble Blue finish gives the American Ultra II Precision Bass a sharp, contemporary look to match its upgraded performance.
