Few amplifiers are as deeply woven into the sound of electric guitar as the Fender ’65 Deluxe Reverb. Revered for its shimmering cleans, lush tube reverb, and expressive vibrato, this classic blackface combo has been heard on countless recordings and stages for decades.
The modern ’65 Deluxe Reverb faithfully recreates the legendary mid-’60s design, delivering the unmistakable tone, feel, and responsiveness that made the original one of Fender’s most iconic amplifiers. Rated at 22 watts and loaded with a 12" Jensen C-12K speaker, the ’65 Deluxe Reverb offers the perfect balance of headroom and natural tube breakup—making it equally at home in the studio, on stage, or as the foundation of a pedalboard-driven rig.
The two-channel layout includes Normal and Vibrato channels, each with its own inputs and EQ controls, while Fender’s legendary tube-driven spring reverb and tremolo provide the spacious ambience and pulsing modulation that defined the golden era of blackface amplifiers. Inside, the all-tube circuit uses a classic complement of 12AX7 and 12AT7 preamp tubes paired with 6V6 power tubes and a 5AR4 rectifier, producing the warm compression, sparkling high end, and touch-sensitive response players expect from a true vintage-style Fender amp. Housed in a traditional black tolex cabinet with a silver grille cloth, the ’65 Deluxe Reverb delivers the authentic look, feel, and tone that has inspired generations of guitarists.
