The basswood body provides a balanced tonal foundation with strong mids and excellent resonance, while the quartersawn maple neck is reinforced with graphite rods for exceptional stability. EVH's signature Wolfgang backshape, rolled fingerboard edges and hand-rubbed satin finish create a comfortable playing experience whether you're digging into rhythm work or navigating fast lead passages. The compound-radius ebony fingerboard transitions from 12" to 16", making both chord work and aggressive bends feel effortless.

Direct-mounted EVH Wolfgang humbuckers transfer more vibration directly from the body, producing a powerful voice with outstanding clarity, sustain and harmonic detail. Performance-focused appointments are found throughout the instrument. The EVH-branded Floyd Rose locking tremolo and locking nut provide dependable tuning stability, while the EVH D-Tuna allows instant switching between standard tuning and Drop D. Specially designed EVH Bourns controls feature a low-friction volume pot for smooth volume swells and a high-friction tone control that stays exactly where you set it during the most energetic performances.
