EVH Limited Edition Wolfgang Special Striped Series Distressed Ivory

The Limited-Edition Wolfgang 2015 pays homage to the touring guitar Eddie Van Halen used during the 2015 “Different Kind of Truth” world tour. Its distressed Ivory over Black finish was originally a last-minute special request, created as a replacement for his #1 touring guitar.

The basswood body is paired with a graphite-reinforced quartersawn maple neck shaped to EVH specifications, with a hand-rubbed satin urethane finish and a 12"-16" compound-radius ebony fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets. A heel-mounted truss rod adjustment wheel allows for quick neck relief adjustments, while the Floyd Rose locking nut and EVH-branded Floyd Rose tremolo provide the stability needed for aggressive playing.

Direct-mount EVH Wolfgang humbuckers deliver clarity, power and sustain, with a low-friction volume pot for fast volume changes and a high-friction tone pot designed to resist accidental movement. An EVH D-Tuna allows quick changes between standard and Drop-D tuning, while EVH-branded Gotoh tuners and chrome hardware round out the build.
