Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom '59 Les Paul Standard Dark Burst

The Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue brings the details of one of the most celebrated Les Paul model years into an accessible, historically inspired instrument. Made in partnership with Gibson Custom, it features a genuine mahogany body with a maple top and AAA flame maple veneer, paired with a one-piece mahogany neck featuring a long neck tenon and an authentic 1959 Rounded Medium C profile. The bound rosewood fingerboard is fitted with 22 medium jumbo frets and mother-of-pearl trapezoid inlays.

Vintage-inspired details continue throughout, including the Gibson-style open book headstock, aged mother-of-pearl Epiphone logo, gold Les Paul Model silkscreen, ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, Gibson Historic Reissue aluminum stop bar, and Epiphone Deluxe Single Ring Keystone tuners. A Vintage Gloss Dark Burst finish and nickel hardware complete the late-'50s aesthetic.

A pair of USA Gibson Custombucker humbuckers with Alnico 3 magnets provide the electronics, hand-wired to CTS potentiometers and Bumblebee paper-in-oil capacitors. Switchcraft components are used for both the three-way pickup selector and 1/4" output jack. An Inspired by Gibson Custom hardshell case with a brown exterior and pink interior is included.
