1957 marked the year the Gibson Les Paul™ truly evolved into a rock and roll icon, with the introduction of Patent Applied For humbuckers and the ABR-1 bridge. Now, Epiphone has partnered with Gibson Custom to create the 1957 Les Paul Goldtop Reissue—an incredibly faithful recreation of those early humbucker-equipped Goldtops.

It features a solid mahogany body, a carved plain maple cap, and a one-piece mahogany neck with a 50s Rounded Medium C profile and a long neck tenon for superior sustain and stability. The bound rosewood fretboard is adorned with mother-of-pearl trapezoid inlays, and the Gibson-style “open book” headstock proudly displays an aged Epiphone logo and the “Les Paul Model” silkscreened in gold. Finished in a Vintage Gloss Double Gold, this reissue offers the perfect lightly aged look. Equipped with Gibson USA Custombucker pickups hand-wired to CTS® pots and Luxe Bumblebee capacitors, this Goldtop delivers legendary vintage tone. Nickel hardware and a brown hardshell case with pink plush interior round out the classic package.
