The Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi 2 brings a long-lost piece of Big Muff history to life. Originally designed in the late 1970s by EHX engineer Bob Myer, the dual op-amp circuit never made it into production and remained tucked away in Myer's files for decades. The hand-drawn schematic was eventually rediscovered by Josh Scott of JHS Pedals and artist Daniel Danger, leading to the resurrection of the circuit as the Big Muff Pi 2.

While unmistakably part of the Big Muff family, the Big Muff Pi 2 has a character all its own. Its unique dual op-amp design delivers the singing sustain and massive gain you'd expect from a Muff, but with a crispier top end, booming lows, slightly rougher clipping, and a more dynamic response. From medium-gain grit to full-blown walls of fuzz, it's a different flavor of Big Muff that feels both familiar and distinctly its own.

The classic Volume, Tone, and Sustain controls keep things simple, while silent true-bypass switching offers both latching and momentary operation. Tap the footswitch for traditional on/off switching or press and hold it for quick bursts of fuzz. It's all packed into a compact nano-sized die-cast chassis featuring artwork by Daniel Danger.

Features: analog dual op-amp fuzz circuit; unique Big Muff Pi design employing two dual op-amps; volume, tone, and sustain controls; silent true bypass; latching and momentary footswitch operation; Daniel Danger artwork; mono input and output.
