Domestic Orders
Our primary shipping method is UPS ground with insurance. For small accessories, PO boxes, or non-continental US customers, we may use the United States Postal Service.
Expedited Orders
We will upgrade the shipping delivery method to 2-day, or overnight (if applicable) upon request (charges will apply).
Sales Tax
6% sales tax will be added to all Michigan orders.
Canada
Our primary shipping method is USPS airmail priority with insurance (which includes a tracking number). FedEx or UPS may be available upon request.
International Orders
Our primary shipping method is USPS airmail priority with insurance. USPS airmail express with insurance (which includes a tracking number) may be requested (charges may apply). The United States Postal Service has a $500 limit for insurance for certain countries. Some manufacturers restrict sales outside of the US. Please email Detroit Guitar before placing your order if you have any questions.
(International buyers, please note: Import duties, charges and taxes (typically collected upon delivery or pickup) are the buyer’s responsibility and are not included in the item price or shipping charges. Please check with your customs office prior to buying to determine what these additional costs will be.)
Handling Time
Orders will be shipped within 24 hours after payment has been received and cleared.
Delivery Time
Orders should arrive within 2-5 days in the US, and 1-2 weeks for international orders.
Returns
If your order is damaged during shipping, was defective, or you want to return it for any other reason, please complete and submit our Return Authorization Form. Detroit Guitar will contact you within 48 hours to make further arrangements.

Returns may be for exchange or store credit, and must occur within 7 days (or 2 days after receipt of the item for shipped orders), and be complete including all original packaging, accessories and documentation.
With the exception of defective and/or “damaged during shipping” items, all shipping charges will be charged to the customer, even if the order was shipped free.
Items will be inspected before issuing a credit. Detroit Guitar reserves the right to refuse items that were not returned to us in the same condition as when they were delivered to the customer.
Certain items are non-returnable (microphones, harmonicas, tubes, etc.).
Sales are final on items purchased using financing or when a trade is involved.
