Different repair technicians are used depending on the job complexity. For example, we believe that the best technician to work on your Taylor guitar’s bridge may not be the best technician to work on your Schecter guitar’s Floyd Rose tremolo system. If you have a guitar, bass or any other fretted instrument that needs repair, maintenance, hot rodding, or customization, just bring it to Detroit Guitar. No appointment is needed.Once you leave your instrument or device with us, Detroit Guitar will:

  1. Provide you with a copy of the work order describing the specific need.
  2. Within 72 hours, you will receive an email from Detroit Guitar with a free estimate. The estimate will include the cost for parts, cost for labor, and turnaround time. You may approve or reject the estimate. If rejected, there will be no cost, unless labor time has been devoted to an electronic device.
  3. If the estimate is approved, we will commence work on your instrument or electronic device immediately.
  4. Once the repair is completed, you will receive an email informing you that your instrument or electronic device is ready for pickup.
All repairs are guaranteed for 30 days unless noted. Some repairs may require a deposit. Electronic repair estimates will require a bench fee, which will be applied toward the repair.

Please do not hesitate to email Detroit Guitar, or call us (1-855-540-9900) if you have any questions.
